This privacy policy describes how Sauce Media LLC (“Sauce Media”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you use Henshu at henshu.app and agency/client workspaces hosted on Henshu domains.
We do not sell your personal information. We disclose workspace or connected-storage content only as required to deliver an action a user requests, including to a storage provider selected as a copy destination, to authorized members of a workspace when the connector explicitly makes a drive workspace-visible, or to a social platform when a user publishes through Henshu.
When you connect Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, or another social platform, you authorize Henshu to use that platform’s API on your behalf for the actions you initiate (publishing posts, fetching analytics). The data exchanged is governed by the third-party platform’s terms, in addition to this policy:
A storage provider is connected only after you choose to authorize it. Connections start private. Henshu uses the Google Drive and Dropbox APIs solely to provide Files features and carry out user-initiated actions: listing supported files and folders, showing metadata, downloading selected files, uploading files, creating folders, and copying selected files between HDrive, Google Drive, and Dropbox. A copy is started by a signed-in Henshu user who can access the source and write to the destination; it creates a new file at the destination and leaves the source in place. Henshu does not rename, move, trash, delete, or change provider permissions on your existing files. Google Shared Drives and Dropbox team spaces may not appear in the current browser.
The person who connected a Google Drive or Dropbox account may explicitly change its visibility from Private to Public to this workspace. This does not publish the drive to the internet. Signed-in members of that Henshu workspace with Files access may browse, download, and copy files out to a destination they are permitted to manage. Members with Manage Files permission may also upload files, create folders, and copy files into the connected account. Only the person who connected the account can change its visibility or disconnect it, and making it visible in one workspace does not expose it in another.
Your original files remain with Google Drive or Dropbox, and Henshu does not continuously mirror or synchronize a connected hierarchy. Directory metadata is passed to authorized signed-in browsers for display. Selected file content passes through Henshu’s server when it is downloaded or copied. For an upload or cross-platform copy, Henshu writes a bounded temporary staging copy, sends it to the selected destination, and deletes the staging copy after the attempt. A successful copy remains at the selected destination under that destination’s storage and retention rules.
Henshu stores your connected account email, the provider’s stable account identifier, and encrypted OAuth access and refresh credentials while the connection remains active. Connected-storage data is transmitted only among the source and destination selected for the requested action, Henshu infrastructure needed to provide and secure the feature, the initiating user’s signed-in browser, and authorized workspace members when the connector has explicitly made the drive workspace-visible. It is not sold, used for advertising, or shared with data brokers. A private connected-drive tab is not exposed to other Henshu workspace members.
Disconnecting Google Drive or Dropbox removes the stored connection credentials and all Henshu workspace-visibility grants for that connection and, when the credentials are readable, requests revocation of Henshu’s provider access. Deleting your Henshu account also removes its stored connected-drive data. Disconnecting or deleting your Henshu account does not delete your original files from either provider.
Henshu’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. Henshu does not use Google Drive or Dropbox data to develop, improve, or train generalized or non-personalized artificial intelligence or machine-learning models.
Workspace data is stored on infrastructure operated by Sauce Media. Access and refresh credentials for connected third-party platforms are encrypted at rest and protected in transit. Access to production data is restricted to authorized Sauce Media operators and is logged. Personnel may access Google Drive data only with your explicit permission for support, when necessary to investigate security or abuse, when required by law, or for internal operations using aggregated and anonymized information.
We retain account and workspace data for as long as your account is active. Google Drive and Dropbox connection identifiers and encrypted credentials are retained only while the relevant connection remains active and are removed when you disconnect or delete your Henshu account. Temporary connected-drive upload and cross-platform transfer staging copies are deleted after the transfer attempt. Deleted Henshu content (cards, messages, files) is held in soft-delete for up to 30 days before permanent removal. Operational logs are retained for up to 90 days.
You can request a copy or deletion of your personal data at any time.
Email hello@henshu.app with the subject “Data Deletion Request” and include the email address tied to your account. We will confirm within 7 days and complete deletion within 30 days.
You can remove a connected Google Drive or Dropbox account immediately from the Files settings in Henshu. This removes Henshu’s stored connection data without moving or deleting anything at the provider.
If you reach this page from an automated platform request (Meta, TikTok), the deletion endpoint is at POST https://henshu.app/api/data-deletion and the public status page is at https://henshu.app/data-deletion-status?code=….
Henshu is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
We may update this policy. The “Effective” date at the top will reflect the most recent revision. Material changes will be communicated by email or in-app notice.
